Questions about Open Contract

I currently have a ship date for P.I for 201408 and I decided to go in as an open contract. I understand that the Marine Corps decides my MOS. However, my question is do they take my asvab and line scores into consideration? Does anyone know what they take into consideration? I have an asvab score of over 90 and line score above 110. My other MOS choices are supply and accounting or cook since I am leaving so early. I joined the DEP program 201407. Thank You.

IN the "OLD DAYS" -
you know,,, right after
they invented electricty and electric lights.
BEFORE the MarineCorps became PROFESSIONALS.

they actually did assign mos's by what they needed -
and took into consideration , ALL the testing they gave
you...even the psyc tests...

they were out to train you in something you could be
good at. GOOD IN, and happy (Relitivly) to do it.

Realize that the Corps didn't do 1000% on making
everyone happy.

BUT the last survey they took here on leatherneck
said about .91% of us would Re-enlist IF we had it
to do all over again....
